Richardson Electronics Ltd. (RELL) on Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $2.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Lafox, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 20 cents per share.
The electronic components and communication products company posted revenue of $53.7 million in the period.
Richardson Electronics shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $10.09, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
