Other than the selfie camera, the phone also comes with a 50MP + 13MP + 16MP + 2MP rear camera with AI capabilities to help optimise the pictures taken by the rear camera sensors. That said, the Galaxy A52 is a great choice for those who want Samsung flagship smartphone-like features without breaking the bank.
Top 5 Tablets for Q3 2021
#1. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
In our #1 spot, we have the value-oriented Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, with an 8.7-inch display, 4GB RAM, and 64GB ROM at the value-added price of only RM699. Unlike most budget-oriented tablets out there in the market, the tab comes with features typically found on more expensive tablets such as a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual stereo speakers.
While the tablet doesn’t have the best performance because it only comes with a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset and 4GB of RAM, it’s more than enough if you often multitask between your apps or are looking for a portable device for learning from home. You can check out our review to see how it performs and see whether it’s the right tablet for you.
#2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Onto our #2 spot, going up a notch from it’s previous #3 ranking in Q2 we have the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite from Samsung. Powered by the Samsung Exynos 9611 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 64GB ROM it is officially priced at RM1699. Unlike our previous entry, the Tab S6 Lite is compatible with the S-Pen, which can be attached to the side of the tablet so that it doesn’t roll off the table.
While tablets are usually more suited for watching videos or reading through documents, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite’s performance is good enough to handle most mobile games out in the market. You can also replace your laptop with it to do light office work. You can check out our review to know more.
#3. Xiaomi Pad 5

#2. Xiaomi Mi Watch
Next, we have the Xiaomi Mi Watch in our #2 spot that’s much cheaper compared to our #1 at the price of RM469. The smartwatch only comes with a single variant that has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display along with two buttons on the side which are the home button and the sport button so that you can quickly access the sport mode.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch is the perfect smartwatch if you enjoy exercising as it supports up to 110 exercise modes which include running, hiking, swimming, cycling, and more. Not only is it able to last up to 22 days on a single charge, but the software also has more than 100 watch faces to choose from. Check out our review about it.
#3. Huawei Watch 3 Pro
Now for the most expensive wearable on our list, we have the Huawei Watch 3 Pro at our #3 spot that’s priced at RM2199. The watch features an extremely premium design with leather straps, sapphire glass, titanium frame and ceramic back suitable for style-conscious individuals.
But that’s not all, it has a huge 1.43-inch AMOLED touch display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of ROM that lets you store music onto the smartwatch so that you can listen to it even without an internet connection. That said, if you’re looking for something premium, you can check out our review of the Huawei Watch 3 Pro.
#4. Huawei Band 6
The Huawei Band 6 sits comfortably in our #4 spot at the price of only RM219. While it is one of the more affordable options, if you’re looking for a wearable that’s catered towards tracking your fitness it should definitely be on your consideration list.
Although it may not be as premium-looking compared to our previous entries, it does get the job done without breaking the bank. Check out our review of the Band 6 to see if it’s the smartwatch wearable for you.
#5. Amazfit T-Rex Pro
Last but certainly not least, we have the Amazfit T-Rex Pro in our #5 spot at the price of RM659. The smartwatch is the only one in this list to be able to withstand up to 10ATM, which is equivalent to depths of around 100 metres.
But that’s not all, if you’re constantly on the move, you’ll be pleased to know that the watch is able to last up to 18 days, and up to 40 hours with GPS on, which is hopefully more than enough if you’re ever stranded while out adventuring. With that in mind, this is a great smartwatch for those who go diving frequently.
Top 5 Laptops of Q3 2021
#1. ASUS Laptop 15 A516
Starting from as low as RM2049, the ASUS Laptop 15 A516 is a great choice for those who are keen on getting a laptop for studies or handling documents where performance isn’t a priority. Equipped with up to an Intel Core i5 processor and up to an Nvidia MX330 GPU, it’s more than capable of handling most day to day tasks from browsing the internet to running picture editing software.
It also has a 15.6-inch NanoEdge Display that helps reduce glare, giving you up to a 178-degree viewing angle, making it easier to share what you’re watching with a friend. You might want to consider adding additional RAM, as 4GB of RAM might not be enough even for Google Chrome, which is known to be very RAM-hungry.
#2. Acer TravelMate Spin P4
Onto our #2 spot, we have the Acer TravelMate Spin P4 that’s geared more towards productivity starting from the price of RM4699 for the i5 variant while the i7 variant is priced at RM5399. Coming with up to an Intel i7-1165G7 processor and 8GB RAM out of the box (upgradeable up to 32GB), the laptop can reliably run many productivity-focused applications like Microsoft Office 365, picture editing software, and multiple Google Chrome tabs without any issues.
In addition, it also features the Intel WiFi 6 AX201 for faster download and upload speeds and it can be used in tablet mode along with a stylus to quickly sketch or take notes. However, because it only comes with Intel Iris Xe graphics instead of a discrete graphics card, it is not exactly the best at running resource-intensive games. So if you’re looking for a lightweight, portable and productivity-focused laptop, the Acer TravelMate Spin 4 is definitely worth considering.
#3. Realme Book
In #3, we have realme’s very first laptop called the realme Book that’s equipped with either an 11th Gen Intel i3 or an Intel i5 processor at the price of RM2499 and RM3499 respectively. While it only comes with Intel UHD Graphics, it has 8GB of RAM, which is more than enough if you’re only using the laptop for productivity workloads instead of playing games.
Furthermore, the 65W PD Super-Fast Charge is incredibly convenient as it’s able to quickly charge up the laptop’s battery to 50% in just 30 minutes. The realme Book is a lot more suitable for content creators where colour accuracy is important as it has a 14-inch 1440p display with 100% sRGB colour gamut. However, you might struggle a little when it comes to editing videos on Adobe Premiere Pro because of the lack of a discrete graphics processor.
#4. ASUS TUF Gaming A15
Next on the list, the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 that was released earlier this year starts from RM5299 and RM6999 for the RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 respectively. Also, because it comes with the Ryzen 7 5800H and 16GB RAM (expandable), it’s more than capable of handling most esports titles and Triple-A games that are currently available on the market.
Additionally, the 1TB capacity NVMe drive is not only fast, but it has more than enough space to store the operating system, games, and videos. With that said, if you’re looking for a decent gaming laptop with up to 240Hz display that will last you several years, you might want to consider this.
#5. Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57
Lastly, we have the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 which is yet another gaming laptop at the price of RM5699 that has an 11th Intel processor, 16GB RAM, 144Hz FHD display and an RTX 3060 GPU. Much like our previous entry, the Acer Nitro 5 is also capable of running most games available without any issues.
If you’re on a tight budget, you could also get the cheaper variant of the Nitro 5 that’s equipped with an Intel Core i5-11400H processor and 8GB RAM at the price of RM4799. If you want to know more about the laptop, you can check out our review.
